HSP's The Season provides an in-depth and honest look at some of the best high school athletes in the nation.
This series gets to the heart of the pressure, struggles and dreams that motivate athletes to reach their potential.
Season One focuses on five highly-touted football players: Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Mycah Pittman, Isaiah Smalls, Bryce Young and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
Each episode focuses solely on one athlete as they face everything that comes with
Friday Night Lights.
Better known as "DTR", Dorian finds himself in the rarest of positions entering his senior year.
DTR will be the starting quarterback for national powerhouse Bishop Gorman HS without having played the position at any point in his high school career.
Furthermore, he has committed to play at UCLA next year on a full scholarship; where he will be playing quarterback.
This episode sheds light on the special individual capable of thriving in this unprecedented circumstance.
The Pittman family name rings loudly throughout the football world. Michael Sr. (Mycah's father) was the starting running back for the Super Bowl-winning Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002.
Michael Jr. (Mycah's older brother) was recently named 1st Team All-PAC 12 as a sophomore wide receiver at USC.
Then, there's Mycah.
He is a top-ranked high school junior with obvious expectations of greatness.
This episode unpacks his relationship to the pressure of being a Pittman and the real motivation behind his dreams.
